Complimentary COVID Testing Transportation available for Middlefield and Rockfall Residents


The Middletown Transit District’s Complimentary COVID Testing Transportation provides FREE accessible transportation to COVID test sites in the district 7 days per week.  Trips must begin in Middletown, Middlefield, East Hampton, Portland or Durham and may be to any testing site in those towns.  Any resident regardless of age or ability is eligible, and up to four people may travel together.  The taxi will provide wait and return service.  Participant’s taxi rides to designated COVID Testing sites within the Middletown Transit District are paid 100%.

Trips must be booked at least one day in advance by calling Curtin Transportation at 860-443-1655 between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.  Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available upon request.

COVID Precautions:
All riders are required to wear a mask.
The vehicles are equipped with front to back protection barriers.
After each ride, the vehicle is wiped down with disinfectant wipes.

Complimentary COVID Testing Transportation will be available until June 30, 2021 or until funding is exhausted. MTD reserves the right to limit number of uses per individual.
