TOWN OF MIDDLEFIELD

Decisions of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency

At its June 20, 2018 meeting the Agency:

1. Closed the public hearing and approved, with conditions, the application for a permit to conduct a significant regulated activity to construct a parking lot for a proposed restaurant within 100’ of a wetland and to conduct a significant regulated activity in a wetland or watercourse by filling an existing wetland drainage system and the relocating a wetland drainage system at 275 Baileyville Road.  Applicant/Owner: LaRosa Middlefield, LLC.

2. Approved the request for an IWWC permit to conduct an activity within 100’ of a wetland to replace approximately 32’ of an existing wall at 24 Rosemary Lane with the condition that proper erosion and sedimentation controls be used and the project will have the oversight of the Wetlands Enforcement Officer.  Submitted by Michael Moore and John LaRosa.
