LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF MIDDLEFIELD

Decisions of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency

At its June 27, 2019 special meeting the Agency:

1. Approved, with conditions, the replacement of a pipe approximately 88 feet in length under the road to a catch basin on Old Indian Trail Road. This will include but not limited to erosion and sedimentation controls. Work commencing only with notification and final approval by the Wetlands Enforcement Officer. This work is proposed by the Town of Middlefield with a finding that the project will improve the conditions in the wetlands located there, as presented by the Town Engineer.

2. Approved, with conditions, the removal of stone rubble, install a pipe and backfill the area at 5 Cherokee Road. This will include but not limited to industry-accepted erosion and sedimentation controls. Work commencing only upon notification and final approval by the Wetlands Enforcement Officer. This work is proposed by the Town of Middlefield as presented by the Town Engineer with a finding that the work will improve the water quality of the wetlands located there, including Lake Beseck.
