The Planning and Zoning Commission develops and maintains Zoning Regulations that respond to changing market conditions, developing technologies and increased demands placed on the development and use of land.

The commission also reviews all proposed municipal improvements and proposed revisions to the Zoning Map. The commission is also responsible for the Town Plan of Conservation and Development and the required periodic updating of this plan.

The Middlefield Planning and Zoning generally meets twice monthly. It is a five (5) member commission with three (3) alternates.

Application forms, information and staff are available at the Land Use Office in the Community Center, Main Street, Middlefield.

2014 Meetings are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Middlefield Community Center, 405 Main Street.
