The Middlefield Town Clerk’s office is closed to the public until further notice.
Staff will be present in the Town Clerk’s office Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 2:00pm to check the mail and process land records, vitals requests etc. No Staff will be present in the Town Clerk’s office on Friday’s. The best way to contact the office will be through email at the addresses listed below.
Funeral Homes filing Death Certificates, Burial and Cremations Permits, please call 860-349-7116, to set up an appointment, we will be in the office as noted above. We will process your request while you wait in your car.
Absentee Ballots for the Presidential Preference Primary has been rescheduled to June 2, 2020. If you have already sent in an Absentee Ballot Application, you do not need to send in a new one. The Absentee Ballot Application is available on line on the Town of Middlefield Website.

Land Records availability: For the time being please access the index of land records in the Town Clerk section of our website. You can search for volumes and pages of documents and if you should need the documents to be printed please email us the volume and pages needed at the email address shown below or call our office during the hours noted above.
Notary Public Services are suspended until further notice.
Dog Licenses may be processed by mail. Please call Town Clerk’s office if you have questions.
Marriage Licenses are available by appointment only. Please call the office ahead of time.
