Dial -A- Ride provides curb to curb service from your home to various places in Middlesex County. Facilitated by River Valley Transit, the bus can bring you to the Senior Center for lunch, shopping, visiting, doctor appointments, etc. There is a $7.00 charge for round-trip transportation ($3.50 each way) and payment must be in cash or vouchers (vouchers can be purchased from Dial-a-Ride office). The Middlefield/Durham Senior and Disabled Bus provides transportation to residents of both towns to appointments. Curb to Curb transportation is provided to older adults and disabled residents for out of county medical appointments, Monday -Friday. Trips must be booked at least one week in advance. Please call River Valley Transit (RVT) at 860-346-0212, press 2. Please make sure to indicate what town you reside in and if you have not heard from RVT on day before your scheduled appointment, it is recommended that you call RVT.
